She has also received honors awards from the California State Senate in 2019 and 2022,  both times for outstanding service to the Elk Grove community.

Jacqueline enjoys lifting up the community with compassion. She puts her heart and soul into lifting up and becoming a voice for disadvantaged populations while creating pathways for equity and empowerment.

Nancy Wong is a proud University of California Davis Aggie who found her calling in community-building in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. As isolation took hold globally, she saw firsthand how vital connection, belonging, and shared purpose are to healing and resilience. Since then, she has committed herself to helping others reconnect with their cultural heritage and celebrate the rich diversity that strengthens America.

Nancy has served as a leadership member of the UC Davis Alumni Association’s Sacramento Chapter and supported local entrepreneurs as a Small Business Advisor with SCORE, part of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Born in Hong Kong and raised in California, Nancy’s journey reflects the immigrant spirit of perseverance, resilience, and hope.

Her deep commitment to community was further shaped in 2024 when her son Darren was diagnosed with brain cancer. During that difficult time, Li Family Charitable Foundation extended support to her family, reminding her of the profound impact compassion and community can have in times of crisis.

Now, Nancy channels that experience into advocacy and service, guided by the belief that America’s strength lies in its diversity. Through honoring cultural heritage and lifting one another up with compassion, she strives to build bridges of understanding, unity, and shared purpose for all.

Shaline Jane is a dynamic force in media and advocacy, known for empowering women and embracing authenticity in all she does.
